I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, holding an MA in Mental Health & Wellness Counseling from New York University. 

My passion lies in maternal mental health, and normalizing the emotional challenges that accompany pregnancy and postpartum. Having experienced a perinatal mood disorder myself, I feel dedicated to reducing the shame and stigma women feel when their journey into parenthood varies from the one they envisioned.

Additionally, I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, navigating relationship challenges, and helping clients process and recover from difficult childhood experiences. So much of what we experience in our early lives becomes the framework from which we operate; often, this framework needs adjusting to better support the outcomes we desire for our lives.

As a clinician, I utilize Attachment Theory & Neurobiology, as the basis from which I provide care. Transcending all formal approaches, however, is my desire to meet each client with warmth, my own humanity and sometimes, even, humor, which I believe are the most fundamental components of growth and healing.
