Therapists

Brianna Babbitt, MA, LLC, LLMFT

Brianna believes that therapy should be a space where individuals, couples, and families can come and share their stories without fear of judgment. She will work with you to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship and create an environment that is safe and inclusive.

Coming from a framework in Family Systems Theory, Brianna will work with you to explore patterns that are no longer serving you. As humans we do not operate in a vacuum. We have networks of relationships that we interact with every day. When we are feeling stuck, often it is the repetitive pattern that is causing us distress. By understanding this pattern and what role we play in the cycle, we can develop a new outlook to affect change. Just as our family systems inform who we are, so does our race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, body size, spirituality, socioeconomic background, and immigration status. We all have different lived experiences, and it is imperative to include these identities in the therapeutic process.

Brianna specializes in working with couples and is Level 2 trained in Gottman Therapy. She also sees individuals navigating anxiety, depression, disordered eating, intuitive eating, grief and loss, stress with life adjustments, self-esteem, body neutrality, and identity exploration. She is LGBTQ+ and poly affirming.

Brianna attended Western Michigan University’s Marriage, Couples, and Family program and received her master’s degree in Counseling. She currently holds her limited license in counseling as well as a limited license in marriage and family therapy.

She looks forward to beginning this journey with you!
