Therapists

Maggie Dryer, MA, LLC

(She/Her/Hers)

We all have a story, and our stories impact how we see the world, others, and ourselves. Sometimes our stories can feel overwhelming, and figuring out who we are and how we fit inside our stories can be challenging. In the process of counseling, we can journey together through the painful and joyous moments of your story and examine how that story came to be and work together to write a new chapter. Life can be isolating and lonely, but you are not alone. Through the safety and non-judgment of the therapeutic relationship, we’ll explore your goals as well as past experiences, coping mechanisms, social and gender inequalities, and unmet needs that may be inhibiting your journey toward healing.

Maggie strives to approach counseling with empathy, consistency, and curiosity, and she is passionate about working with others to be part of creating a more whole, less lonely world. Maggie firmly believes that an individual’s social and relational context impacts their mental health, and she utilizes feminist and narrative theories to examine that impact.

Maggie has a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Cornerstone University. She specializes in working with individuals 16+ navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, breakups, spiritual concerns, identity, and self-esteem issues. Maggie is particularly passionate about creating a safe and empowering environment for women in the counseling space.
